Bouldin Radio, LLC, operates several stations in the Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia region. WRGS is an AM/FM combo operation at Rogersville, Tennessee, and our Pennington Gap, Virginia, properties include an AM station with an FM Translator and a full-power FM station.

WRGS AM 1370 kHz and FM 94.5 mHz

Since 1954, WRGS has been the hometown radio station for Rogersville and Hawkins County, Tennessee, providing news and community information, Real American Country, the world-famous Swap Shop, and live coverage of Cherokee High School sports. WRGS-AM operates with a daytime power of 1,000 watts nondirectional at 1370 kilohertz and simulcasts its programming on the FM Translator Station at 94.5 mHz. WRGS garnered world-wide attention when its Swap Shop program was featured in a Netflicks series by the same name. WRGS is 100% locally programmed with air personalities who have been on the station for many years…some for decades. WRGS is very active in the community sponsoring and broadcasting from community events throughout the year.

105.5 WSWV-FM

WSWV-FM plays Today’s Country and Yesterday’s Favorites with very popular special weekly bluegrass and classic country feature shows hosted by local bluegrass musician Zach Wiles. These feature programs include intensive audience participation. The station provides local and national news coverage, local obits, community information, and live play-by-play coverage of Lee County High School sports. WSWV-FM is a Class A FM station licensed to Pennington Gap, Virginia, operating with 6,000 watts at 105.5 mHz, and serving Lee and surrounding counties in Southwest Virginia.

WHNQ AM1370 & FM 101.9 mHz

WHNQ airs Today’s Christian Music, a mix of contemporary and timeless praise and worship songs, delivered 24 hours each day. The station features good clean fun with Kevin and Taylor in the morning, music intensive mid-days with Amanda Carroll, heart and humor with Doug and Jayme afternoons, evenings with Penny, and overnights with Hannah Jensen. WHNQ operates at AM 1570 kHz with a daytime power of 2.3 kilowatts nondirectional in simulcast with FM Translator Station W270CB at 101.9 mHz.
